Sarah Pascal
A painter from Lille, Sarah is part of an artistic approach that combines tradition and innovation. After studying art and history in Paris, she perfected her skills with Hélène Legrand, official painter of the Navy. The latter taught her the ancient techniques of oil painting, such as tempera, giving her works depth and luminosity.
Fascinated by oil painting, which she describes as a “living material” in constant transformation, she explores various techniques such as prima, wax, tempera and layering. Her visual universe, rich in contrasts, oscillates between figuration and abstraction, often centered on skies, bar scenes and nature.
